ABOUT THE KEYS ACTION GUIDE
Your school community is about to embark on a school improvement journey that will aid not only the students enrolled today, but also those who will follow. With the help of this guide, your KEYS survey results, and other resources, you will find opportunities to explore, discuss, act, improve, and reflect on conditions of teaching and learning in your school. Following are a few things to keep in mind as you begin your work:
As you browse the guide, you may feel that the work is overwhelming. A closer look at the suggested activities, however, could reveal that you or other stakeholders in the school are already engaged in such efforts. What the guide can help you accomplish is your working as a team for a specific purpose. And remember, members of the NEA staff are available to help you. For answers to your questions or more information about KEYS, call the NEA School System Capacity Department at (202) 822-7350. You may also access information about KEYS from the NEA web site: www.nea.org. |
